The Lord is my strength and my shield: my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him. The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving strength of His anointed. Psalm 28:7-8.
We are so fragile as humans, yet we portray a strong outward appearance leaving untold those circumstances, which weaken us. Anxious thoughts often trouble us, yet we must maintain that façade of strength as we attempt to ward off malicious inquirers that might abuse of our better nature.
Is this stoic strength or pride alone that we will not share our concerns to one another? Or have we been so betrayed seemingly by our well-intentioned friends and loved ones that we can no longer tell them what is in our hearts?
We must seek the Lord for our strength for He can be relied upon to bring us through all our difficulties. Though family and friends may betray us, the Lord will never falter from helping His anointed, nor will He condemn us for our failures. The Lord knows our weaknesses and our true strengths yet He will always lift us up with joy. Praise the Lord for His goodness!

Even Among closely Knit Christian Church Families one Must be very careful who You share Your innermost secrets with. I Know this from personal experience I believe it is healthy to share with others of the faith in general terms Like Health and economic and family problems are good things for Prayer in ones worship community ( the Church Family as a Whole )...God Bless You all and hope to hear from some of You again! ....Dave
Many dont share with others because it never stays with that one person. The lord keeps your concerns to himself.
God can be trusted, but trust no man.

I believe discernment is important here in whom we share our secrets and pain with. There are people we can share with and whom we know we can trust because God has revealed it to us.

God bless you also Dave. It is always a pleasure talking with you. I love these discussions in which we share our love of God, but also share something of ourselves.
