Sometimes we struggle and we do but, what if 80 years were like 80 minutes to God? Can you imagine eternity? We focus on worldly things and God knows we are learning. The day will come where we will be able to rejoice for an eternity.. Glory. So I will praise him in the good and bad. If I have to cry because I am so hurt I will still praise him because He IS The Only Father. He IS ALL WE HAVE! Glory To God!

1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

It is still difficult to reconcile the things that are going on around us with God says about us in His Word. I know that why have faith in God, yet the real world continue to crush around us disorenting us so that we are sometimes cut off from God.
They tell me that these things are a test of my faith to strengthen me in my relationship with God. Yet I would not willingly put myself through torment.

Ok I respect you being real and God loves that honesty.. We (meaning the children of God) have a purpose. Look at it this way. Before you were born God put spiritual things and gifts in you. So to unlock them and to make us realize what we have we must use them. Unfortunetly, it can't just be told to us because we have the word to read and we still yet don't obey and understand. So what's the best way to learn but, by experience. Yes it's hard but, the reward is greater.. Another thing I have to say because I believe it to be true. We have levels that God has set for us. I don't know if we can achieve all of the levels but, each level trains you on something and that something is used to Benefit the Kingdom. Your works will be judged. If everyone would desire to grow spiritually the world would not be as bad. Because the enemy couldn't distract as much as he does. But, who can we start with ourselves. Because we want to make sure when we stand before the Lord we have past our trials - at least the majority then all unknown will be known. Stay Blessed! Do your best to always look for the Good that's happening please do not allow the enemy to tire you out.. Because he will.. Making us fight battles that belong to the Lord.

Yes, all the Glory must go to God. As Christians, we have life because Christ has Life. Our Life is in Him. All we have was given to us by Him. In all reality, Jesus Christ is our "all in all". Ephesians 1:22-23 KJV ( 1789 ) And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

It's not even "too much Old Testament", in the Old Testament God is compassionate, shows mercy, is patient and long-suffering. Consider the lesson we learn from Jonah, or the word delivered to Ezekiel that God does not desire the death of the wicked, that God takes no pleasure or joy in the destruction of the wicked by desires that that the wicked repent and change their ways so they might live and have life. God has always been a merciful, compassionate, kind and patient God who has no desire for the destruction of the wicked, who has loving-kindness for the sinner and for the wicked person to change their ways and truly live and have life. -CryptoLutheran |

Yes, God gets all the glory. Do we accept our fate silently then as though we are merely puppets in a greater plan? Is faith silent and uncomplaining then?
