As a creationists do you ever get embarrassed by creationism?

Could any creationist tell me if they have ever been told something about creationism that has made them feel embarrassed?
would you believe anything and everything you were told? if not where would you draw the line?
how ridiculous would something need to be before you said to yourself 'I will not believe that'?

I am embarrassed as an ex-YEC, because now I have an education. Now, I look back, and realize that I believed it in a complete and utter ignorance of science (which was acceptable, I suppose, given my age) and only because my pastor said so.

I also believed all that "Atheist scientists hate God" claptrap. Ironically, I now want to be a scientist myself. Funny, how those things work, isn't it?

Do you ever get embarrased regurgitating the same inflammatory threads over and over? where will you draw the line? How ridiculous will this need to get before you say to yourself 'stop, i will not post that silly thread'?

I think you could have something, I don't need to ask these questions when the answers are obvious, they do not even think about the creationism they believe in let alone feel embarressed by it.

I will not post any more OPs where the answers to a normal person are obvious, sorry.

I was thinking along the lines that if ex creationists could tell their stories todays creationists could hear from people who have been where they are now and managed to get away from creationism.

Nothing that I can think of.

I don't wait until something gets 'ridiculous' before I reject it.

Something can sound plausible, yet I automatically reject it.

lol you give your own opinion the import it does not deserve. Try posting something constructive instead of inflammatory.

Except you weren't addressing ex creationists were you.

Yet you think your God stepped in and got rid of any evidence that there had even been a flood, that doesn't sound very plausable does it yet you don't reject that do you?
