Hi everybody, I hope it's okay that I put this prayer request in here and not in some other section. It's kinda weird considering the fact that none of us have ever seen each other or talked in person, and despite all the myriad of differences there are on this forum, I almost feel like we're friends who keep up with each other's lives.Anyway, to the point: my daughter was taken to the ER last night after she blacked out...she's very sick and it turns out she has a nasty case of swine flu and, to her surprise, an advanced case of strep throat. She's very, very sick. She's 24, her name is Katie, and she's the one whose picture I have proudly displayed down there in my signature. I'm frustrated because she lives in California and I'm here in Missouri and I can't get ahold of her personally. So if you all wouldn't mind thinking of her in your prayers when you have a moment, I'd really, really appreciate it. Thank you.

Scary stuff.I just heard from Katie via text message, she just got home from the hospital. She said she couldn't talk, it hurt too much, so I really don't know any other details. I expressed concern over my little grandson getting it and she said he's already gotten it, too. Sigh.You all made my day with your support, thank you so much.
