Sorry, don't know much at all about TB, just couldn't resist that comment on this cold autumn day.
Rumour has it we did have a summer this year.
So far over here in the states most of us are having the coldest October on record. Strange because it's been up and down for the last few months. We had close to the coldest August, close to the warmest September, and now the coldest October. I hope this means we'll have the warmest November? One can only hope so.
Ok, back to the topic now...

God didn't send His Son to pay for the forgiveness of your sin, and then decide He is going to require you to make installment payments. He only requires you to believe that the FULL PAYMENT was done, over 2000 yr. ago..........then you'll stop trying to make the installments on something you could never pay for anyway. The Good News is that you are debt free!

It's not even "too much Old Testament", in the Old Testament God is compassionate, shows mercy, is patient and long-suffering. Consider the lesson we learn from Jonah, or the word delivered to Ezekiel that God does not desire the death of the wicked, that God takes no pleasure or joy in the destruction of the wicked by desires that that the wicked repent and change their ways so they might live and have life. God has always been a merciful, compassionate, kind and patient God who has no desire for the destruction of the wicked, who has loving-kindness for the sinner and for the wicked person to change their ways and truly live and have life. -CryptoLutheran
And I'm laughing at you avatar! It's fitting considering your forum name.

A) YES - we can jump ship if things ain't working out
B) NO - we must tough it out - suck it up, if you will
He raises an excellent point. Repentence is a pre-requisite to "restoration".
