Creation & EvolutionForum for the discussion of this important topic. This forum is open to non-believers. There is a Christians-only forum in the Christians-only section too.
Like I said, I tried to warn them. Dont say anything contrary to what they believe. Its OK if they do it to creationists though. Its a one way street with them. Evolution or nothing.

I asked Jesus "How much do you love me?" He answered "This much". Then He stretched out His arms and died for me.
If you have everything but Jesus, you have nothing. If you have nothing but Jesus, you have everything.
Have you given much thought to where you are going to spend eternity?
Thanks for this link ...
I flipped through some of the postings on the forum there and I had to stop after about 5 minutes. Most of the postings concerning other religions, agnostics, atheists or homosexuals are simply abominable.
If these posters are in any way representative for american christians then ... sorry, I don't know how to put my thoughts in any humane words ...
As far as I remember from my religion classes in school, one of the cornerstones of christianity should be to love and respect others, I can't find any sign of this in these postings.
Some examples:
There is nothing wrong with the atheist’s worldview, if he is willing to move to a deserted island and willing to live totally alone. (No “Friday” allowed!) But as soon as he tries to share his limited “meaning for existence” with others – a meaning that by definition applies only to himself – we have a problem. How the rest of the world should relate to an atheist? Is any relationship possible with someone who, by implication of his own words, is utterly antisocial?
Satan has hundreds if not thousands of religions; Islam, I believe, Is his most successful.
I tend to agree with both of 'why' of a homosexual....
A) It is a choice.
B) They were born like that.
That being the case of psychological defect or physical defect, then drugs or surgery are a good option or if the subject goes to an extreme, then he may have to be kept from the general population for the saftey of himself and others.
But if all of that fails, I will always stand by a wall and not bend over in a crowd, as you will never know what kind of an 'animal' will be behind you.
But if I read statements like the following, I'm no longer wondering:
And the fact that we are at war with false worldviews does make for some hostility.
Like I said, I tried to warn them. Dont say anything contrary to what they believe. Its OK if they do it to creationists though. Its a one way street with them. Evolution or nothing.
You are welcome to provide any and all evidence that goes against evolution. All we ask is that you don't lie, like the article in the OP.

It's an article with little more than baseless assertions and quote-mining. Maybe it's good enough for creationists...

This isn't about belief. This is about evidence.
Even worse, the article under question doesn't go against "what they believe". It is like an article that makes fun of Big Bangists for believing that the CMB is made of tapioca. It's a strawman argument.
Let's look at the very first paragraph:
"When evolutionists present their latest fossil finds as “evidence” of evolution, keep in mind that they could never find any bit of evidence that would disprove evolution."
This is completely false. A fossil with a mixture of ape and bird features would falsify evolution. Surely such a species is possible under ID given that there is a common designer for birds and apes, right? As it stands, a fossil with a mixture of basal ape and modern human features is exactly what we should see if humans evolved from a ancestor shared with other apes. If you don't think this is a transitional fossil then please describe for us what a real transitional would look like.
The author even trips over himself. This paragraph is a prime example:
"In 1999, an article appeared that unquestioningly assured us that “A Baboon-sized ape that lived in East Africa 15 million years ago might have been among the first primates to leave the treetops and live on the ground, a key step in the evolutionary path that scientists say eventually led to humans.”[3] Fifteen million years ago!? Give me a break. Now we learn that a 4.4 million-year-old fossilized ape is one of our ancestors."
Do you see the problem here? If not, then you have much to learn.
Its OK if they do it to creationists though. Its a one way street with them. Evolution or nothing.
If creationists would offer up something other than lies and deception then they wouldn't be ridiculed. Read the paragraph above.

It is a little funny though, in a sad sort of way.
I agree. It's like watching people trying to run after spinning-with-the-bat-on-the-ground-thing. Goes in every direction with no hope of reaching the finish line.

Yes, the worst part though is that they often don't realize this, and think they are actually winning. They misinterpret the pity they receive from the rest of the world as fear, which leads to their "Atheist scientists are afraid of God/afraid of Creationism being proven" claim.
