There may be moderate Muslims but there is no such thing as a moderate Islam and moderate Koran.
irrefutably correct

No, not when failing to either submit or make the "right" choice brings about the same result. There is essentially no differance, either situation could be interpreted as blackmail.
I cannot see how it is blackmail by giving you a free gift? God gives us the free gift of salvation through His Son, how is that blackmail? ( and don't worry I'm not attacking you, I just can't understand what you mean by blackmail?)
I'd rather be free in Christ than bound by sin and kept in the dark by Satan.

"But bring here those enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, and slay them before me.”
Muslims think they are supposed to rule the earth. Christians think they are supposed to. I'm betting on the Christians.
I honestly have to say that I do not know what Jesus is talking about there. What I do know is that he was talking in parables and He definitely didn't mean physically bring people to Him and kill them in front of Him. That is just not the character of Christ.
The other thing to remember was that when Jesus was talking about enemies He was referring to Satan and his hordes who fought against the Kingdom. He (Satan) who blinded the eyes and thoughts of man so as not to see God's Salvation.
The thing you mentioned about ruling the earth: remember that Jesus ALWAYS spoke of the Kingdom of heaven, NOT AN EARTHLY Kingdom. Jesus came to show us the Kingdom of heaven.
That was the mistake the Sanhedrin and Judas made. They saw Jesus speaking of an earthly Kingdom, that is why Judas was under the impression that Jesus was going to kick the Roman occupation into the Mediterranean and was disappointed when it didn't happen. So Christians shouldn't be under the impression that they should rule the earth. Jesus has taken the keys of heaven and earth form Satan when He (Jesus) rose victoriously from the dead. Jesus has overcome and is the King of Kings! HE RULES ALREADY! We should simply go in child like faith and tell the world of the wonderful work of Jesus on the Cross.

The central message of the Koran is very different. Yes, Allah is forgiving etc, but His prophet clearly states that either you submit ( the very meaning of the word ISLAM) or burn in the fire. Jesus said: CHOOSE Mohammed said: SUBMIT.
Submit to the will of Allah, no differen than you submitting to God and Jesus. According to the Bible, either you accept Christ and his salvation, or you wil go to Hell. No difference there. Stop spinning the words of the Prophet(SAW) and the Holy Qur'an to fit your skewed idea of Islam.
Islam is the religion of we Muslims and means surrender to the will of Allah. The root word is Salaam which means to make peace. You've all heard the phrase, "Assalmu Alaikum" which means may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon you
Some would interprete the threat of eternal damnation in the fires of hell if you don't make the "correct" choice or submit to the will of Allah as blackmail.
If you truely believe that you were bound in sin and kept in the dark by Satan and that you are now free then it was obviously a no brainer. Those who are happy with thier current belief system and who don't believe thier bound in sin and kept in the dark by Satan are not going to be so inclined.

I've never understood this "free gift" aspect of christianity.
You don't have to do anything to earn salvation. Except force yourself to believe something that God seems to have gone out of his way to make seem highly improbable. God doesn't choose you based on whether you were good to other people, he chooses you depending on whether or not you like him. He's like a petulant 6 year-old.

Jesus often talked of a coming kingdom of God on Earth.
Actually, Christians have been ruling the earth ever since the sign of the Son of Man appeared in the clouds in 312 AD (as prophesied in Matthew 24:30). That's when the first Christian conqueror, St. Constantine, appeared on the scene -- who rode a white horse and conquered with a bow (see Rev. 6:1-2).

I'm sure most of the world disagrees with you there... There's more to the world than white people, you know!

Constantine, the first horseman of the Revelation, conquered all the known world.
