Did you have any issues with what he said in this video?

Let's just say for the sake of argument that you are correct. (I am OSAS btw, so I disagree with that assessment, but that's not my point here.)
Is your point that it hasn't sent "enough" people to hell, therefore don't worry about it yet, actually where you want to come down on this topic?

No, just making a point that he should correct his own doctrine before he tries to correct other people's doctrine. |

So people have to be 100% accurate in all their doctrine before ever attempting to question or warn others about their doctrine. Ok. Wouldn't that disqualify just about all pastors from preaching in their pulpits?
Also, is that actually a valid excuse in not pointing out bad doctrine? In your opinion, how many years of prayer and study should an individual have before they get it perfect so they can attempt to correct other doctrine?

Nope. But when it comes to a heresy that will lead souls to hell (which is what I believe OSAS does. I truly believe the doctrine is a license for immorality), you need to correct such a doctrine before you hypocritically tell others that the "Sinner's Prayer" has led many people to hell.
We do not need to be 100% accurate in all our doctrines. But I find it laughable when someone accuses others of doing what he is doing himself. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
