Are you joking me? One does not need to be baptized by full immersion. Any baptism is fine. Tell me, what should those who live in the deserts of Iraq do who only have small amounts of water?

Here's something else for you to think about: who were Romans and James written to? Christians.

The people reading those letters had already been baptized. Romans 6 is a reminder of what their baptism meant ... it's linked to dying to sin, and being raised up to walk a new life with Christ.

It's our participation in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. It's part of being "born again!"
And before I forget again ( i keep forgetting to post me response), I did read it closely. Maybe you should read them it again as well. Because what I got from it were (1) Chapter 6 was in fact directed toward to already born again Christians. So yes, you were right. So by you saying that Paul was writing to already Christians i find no fault.

(2) The scripture I mentioned earlier, Romans chapter 10, is Paul talking to the Christians about how salvation is free for everybody who seeks it. He is talking to the Christians about non-Christians. And what he says is that "For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." (v.10). He does not say that "With the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth and by baptism one is saved.".

Why so many Christians are in this false doctrine I do not understand. YES you should get baptized but NO it does not save you! God makes it clear that we DO NOT GET SAVED BY WORKS. Baptism is something we outwardly do while believing and confessing Jesus Christ in an inward thing.

"Well did Isaiah prophecy off you hypocrites, as it is written,

This people honors Me with their lips,
But their hearts are far from Me,
in vain do they worship Me,
teaching as doctrines the
commandments of men.

You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.

And He said to them, 'You have a fine way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your traditions!'" Mark 7:6-9

God bless you all and happy Sunday in Jesus name.

I don't know, if God wants them to be then it will work out. You don't need to baptized to be saved, though when you are baptized, it is BIBLICAL to be fully immersed in the water. I don't recall any moments in reading in the NT about us being "sprinkled" or whatever other ways religious organizations have some up with.

Well my good friend, i do recall that in the Bible, Jesus told Nicodemus, That in order to enter the Kingdom of God he must Born of the water and of the spirit read John 3:4-5; hope this brings some more clear understanding. God Bless!

I believe you should. Remember that Christ was baptised in water and we are to follow His example. Water baptism is a public demonstration of your faith in Christ. Its a good thing.

21 and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also-- not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Mark 16:16
16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Water baptism does not save us, only Christ Jesus can do that, but once we are saved and there's nothing preventing us from being baptized, we will want to be baptized by full immersion, which symbolizes the death burial and resurrection of Christ Jesus. It's a public acknowledgment of our new identity in Christ Jesus, if you will.

I think Paul's strong criticism of those who do rituals like circumcision as a means of salvation is a good testament to how the action of baptism does not save you, only faith alone does.

Ok, I am done trying to argue with you guys about works being different than the Blood of Christ. Take it how you want. Discredit the only thing that can save you. I pray for all of the fresh Christians who are lead astray with this false teaching...
God bless you all.
