So amazing my friend thanks for sharing the Love of Jesus on those that "we think are undeserving" wow to us, may His love surpass our walls of hatred. He came to set at liberty those that are perishing, as I was one of them. Thank you Yeshua for you are stronger than our weakness.
I'm so grateful for the love of Jesus. When my husband hurts me I remember the words of my Lord, and I am at peace.

"O take my heart, Thou Loved One; let it be transfixed with those dear wounds for love of Thee. O wound it, Jesus, with pure love of Thee, and let it so be crucified with Thee that it may be forever joined to Thee."
Hello, friends. I've been busy, of course, but I took up an offer to go with friends on a hike to Silver Falls yesterday (10 waterfalls, some of them very big and beautiful!) We took 2 cars. When our car got there, the other car wasn't there and the reception didn't work on the cell phone. The others could have been anywhere in that big park. I prayed for us to meet up, and when I was in the restroom, Emily, the driver of the other car, walked in.
It rained nearly the whole time. I didn't go on the whole hike with the rest--my hip wouldn't have handled it and I would have slowed everyone down too much. But I walked down to the base of what I think is the biggest fall and then borrowed Isaiah's car keys and crossed the bridge and went up the trail back by myself. It was nice going at my own pace, and I got some great shots of the fall. Got quite wet, as one of my boots leaked and my pants were soaked below my trench coat. I hung out at the lodge for a while reading my history book and talking with people, until they closed up. Then I waited in the car, reading until it got too dark to read, and shivering in the cold because I didn't know I could run the heater without wearing out the battery. The others were later than they said they would be. I went and told a ranger who was cleaning the bathroom of my concern. He told me the walk that they thought would take 2 1/2 hours would take a total of 4! They wouldn't be back till 6, he said. I said I would freeze. He said as soon as he finished with the bathroom he would drive up the road and pick my friends up. I prayed they would meet up with him. Soon after he left, he returned with them in his truck--all but Isaiah, who had gotten separated from them. So still I waited in the cold car, praying again--that Isaiah would arrive soon. He got there at 5:30 instead of 6. He said he was walking very fast.
We all went out to dinner in Silverton. The others all had tennis shoes and took them off whenever they could because they were so soaked.
I thank God that he answers so many prayers!
Amy (kisstheson), I'm so happy about your apartment, and I have no trouble believing that he who began this good work in your life with complete it--transportation will work out. May he bless your car! May he provide all good things according to his riches in glory!
FROG--I love the graphic in your signature and what it has to say. Just one thing bothers me about it. It says "a women" when it should say "a woman"! "Women" is plural. Lol. This is a common mistake a lot of people make, and since it's part of a graphic, I don't think you can correct it. As an editor, stuff like that jumps out at me.
Oh, another answer to prayer: My daughter was having some female problems that really bothered her. She even paid $100 to go to the doctor. They ran tests and couldn't find anything wrong, and then they sent her a bill for over $200 more money, which they hadn't said they would charge.
I called a friend, and my friend prayed. The next day my daughter was regular.
Oh, oh, oh! Forgot to tell you! I got an A on my history paper! Not only that, but the teacher wrote that it was one of the best papers he'd read in a long time. I really didn't think it was that good! Now I have two weeks to write my second paper, and I don't have enough information to start it. I think I know what my subject is going to be but that depends on whether in my assigned reading I can find enough about it. Because the assigned reading never slows down even as we're working on the papers. I would appreciate your prayers for guidance.
Another request: My daughter is having carpal tunnel symptoms, pain in her right wrist. It keeps her from holding a pencil the way she does to draw, and as you regulars probably know, she's an artist. So it's very frustrating for her. She's been doing a lot of art commissions. Of course my biggest request is that the Lord would get ahold of her heart so she'd really fall in love with him. All the prayers he's answered over the years ought to help.
