Welcome, SoulReason. Is this your first time here? Love what you wrote.
God's love is so present with us!
Hi Robin.
I have been around for about a year now, but don't post a lot. I do love to share the things of the Lord and when I get something that seems worthwhile, I do so. Thanks for the encouragement.
God is good and loves to be with His people and to fellowship with us - glory!
Have some reps.
SR.

Here is his caption for it: "Though no leash could ever hold Him, He was so attached to
her heart that He let her bring Him along, just to be with her wherever she was. Since He had put His delight in her, whatever
delighted her delighted Him. He knew
that she would be coming down this path, so He had left gifts for her to
discover along the way. He did this
because He wanted her joy to be full, and He shared in her joy with each new
discovery. Soon she would be coming to
the scroll that contained His love letters to her, and upon her reading of
them, the eyes of her understanding would be opened to something new about Him. That’s when His appearance, in her eyes, will
change into something even more glorious and intimate…"

This is a symbolic picture depicting Christ thirsting for our love. Jesus approaches us looking very poor as He did during the Passion. He holds a simple wooden cup in His hands. not a jeweled chalice but wooden as it is a representation of Christ's humility. He does not force or overwhelm us with His terrible majesty but is rather like the shy beggar. Although His thirst is great the cup is small because Jesus knows our love is little compared to His. How much love will you put into His cup? A little, half full, or filled to the brim and overflowing?
