I read a really good primer by T.F. Torrance a few years ago:

The Trinitarian Faith (Amazon.com)

I found that quite fascinating. He did a lot to bridge the Eastern and Western churches, so I suspect this is a book that would be acceptable to most Orthodox or Catholic/Protestant trinitarians.
