In the Nicene Creed it states, "I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins". Does this mean that one cannot be re-baptized if they feel the need to be? |

Reps: 3,533,532,912,736,137,216 (power: 3,533,532,912,736,170) | | Baptism is a symbolic act to show outwardly what has already happened inwardly. Only believers should be baptized. I have seen believers baptize again as a re-dedication of their faith if they have faltered and things like that.
BTW- As a Baptist, I do not uphold any creeds.

I know what baptism is but thanks for the definition anyway.  That said, I also do not uphold any creeds as a Baptist but I do believe the Nicene and Apostles Creeds to be good definitions of orthodox Christianity. |

And that is all they are used for here, to define what is and what isn't considered "Orthodox" Christianity.
