I don't believe He made a "show" that looked like He died, nor do I believe the stripes and humiliation didn't hurt Him. I believe He felt it just as much as any other human being would've....but He relied on God and the will of the Father to get through it.
The same is true for sin. Of course He could've sinned, but He didn't, and that's what makes him our blessed Savior. He took on flesh, and conquered it. Amen and amen to all the above... |

In Christ alone... What habit are you speaking of, reading scripture? That's a habit I don't intend to break, and it's obviously one I started long after the SDA church was founded. I think the Word is very clear that Christ came here as a man, born of a woman. I don't know how much clearer it could be actually. He had to be mortal to die. Do you disagree that He really did die for your sins?
