In the 70's they mandated people take a swine flu vaccine and it killed/crippled many people. The article says there is no reason to think the new vaccine will do that. Maybe that is because the new vaccine has not been largely dispensed yet. If you want to roll the dice on that one go for it, but don't laugh at people who choose not to take that ride with you.

Is there any reason to think the new vaccine WILL be harmful? Other than that it gives all those who love wailing about how the sky is falling a chance to do so? |

And it's comments like these that make me glad I didn't take the bait. |

I'm sick of people saying "Oh they're just giving their opinion" or "They're not meant to be taken as anything but entertainment". Someone out there, someone who, for some utterly unfathomable reason, actually takes one word that these two wastes of flesh spew seriously, will listen to to these people and will do what they say. And they might die because of it. They might be elderly, they may be the child of someone who believes Beck and Limbaugh, they may have underlying health conditions. They will listen to what these petulant and vile pundits say on a matter that they have absolutely zero knowledge, credibility or experience. And they might die.
And Beck and Limbaugh will take absolutely no responsibility what-so-ever. And people will still defend them. The "GOVERNMENT" isn't always big and bad and Beck and Limbaugh aren't little guys sticking up for the common man. They don't care about anyone, especially not you. They don't care if you die. But tune in next time. We'll learn how not to breathe the government's air. That'll show 'em!
Disgusting. disgusting is the word for your vile rant. people are wise enough to listen to the facts and make up thier own minds, not blindly put thier lives in the hands of the goverment, and thier minions.
its not good enough for you that the goverment controls 90% of the media! you have to go for the other 10%. it is because you hate freedom of speech. it make you burn. the govenments air ! thanks for shedding light on your nature ! that would make a fine signature ! |

Well, thats my take. I offered you a chance to show me anything at all to suggest there is anything more to anti-vaccine sentiment than sky is falling rhetoric. You have failed to do so. You are, of course, free to abstain from whatever discussion you like. However, since you have chosen to decline comment, please don't get huffy at me for continuing to believe what I believe when you have given me no sound reason to do otherwise. |
