...Obama....
I don't really see why to be honest. Sure, I'd say he was on his way to maybe getting one later on. But I really don't think he has proven himself to be worthy of one. So far I don't think he qualifies. Sure, he's been a serious shift towards increasing international cooperation and communication, but he has not been president long enough to test whether he's 'whole wood' as we say, or just a smoothtalker.

Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.

Advocates of capitalism are very apt to appeal to the sacred principles of liberty, which are embodied in one maxim:
The fortunate must not be restrained in the exercise of tyranny over the unfortunate.
"no man can serve two masters; ye cannot serve both God and mammon." - Bible (Matthew 6:24)
According to the news here it seems the majority of the nobel comittee agrees that Obama does not (yet) deserve the prize. So it will be interesting to see how this develops further. It's quite a scandal.

Hours after winning a Nobel Peace Prize, President Barack Obama assembled his war council in the White House basement to talk about how many troops might be needed to right the 8-year-old Afghanistan conflict that military commanders are pressing him to escalate.
Peace with the edge of a sword.
