Perhaps you should utilize the Edit button to revise your statement to make it clear that you're only interested in an adolescent level, shoot-from-the-lip, locker room bull session rather than a serious, Bible-oriented discussion. Purgatory is a very grave matter as there are millions of Catholics around the world depending on the existence of one as a safety net when they cross over to the other side. If it can be shown clearly, and without ambiguity, that a Purgatory does not exist; then those same Catholics have good reason to panic and start sweating blood, so don't sport with this topic. It's not an issue to be taken lightly. C.L.I.F.F. /

Why don't we talk about what a belief in purgatory DOES to someone, both good and bad, rather than trying to debate its existence? It might be a bit more productive.....
