Hey guys, does anyone here have an overweight pet? I have a chubby kitty but the others are fine. We feed them regularly and they get lots of exercise, so we are trying out different foods. I'm going to give my kitties samples of Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul this weekend, they also have a good article on overweight animals on their site, check it out.
What type of food do you feed your pets? And does anyone else have a "big boned" animal in their care?

Our chocolate lab got pretty husky for a while. We've always fed her Science Diet. We switched to the light formula and made sure to actually measure out the amount that she was supposed to get, not just pour some in the bowl. She started looking lean again after getting through the first 40 lb bag.
If you have multiple pets be sure to feed them separately. That way you can ensure who is eating what and how much.
