My question is to creationists. Do you guys believe that your salvation depends on interpreting Genesis literally? If so, why? Thanks! Can any creationists (old earth) give me a step-by-step history of how they can reconcile evolution with the fall of man into sin from a "very good" universe created by God? Fossils ("primitive") have been found with animals that have cancer and are in the process of eating each other (fish). If man fell into sin in the Garden of Eden, after evolving, how could the world and man be good in order to fall? Did God make him good (sinless) after full development into homo sapiens to then curse him after sinning (again). This is what I mean about Christianity being indefensible if someone is serious about the bible. God did not create the world "very good" in which man was destined to undergo millions and perhaps billions of years where there was a continuous cycle of death and destruction. This was a result of the fall. |
