I believe God intends that those who willfully disobey the commandments/doctrines of the Bible (willfully involved in evil/sin) to suffer disease, death, destruction and poverty. Romans 6:23 states, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
"No man is an island, entire of itself... any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
I guess Clirus doesn't agree with John Donne. Until we all become the healthy, righteous, self-sufficient Christians of Clirus's fantasy world, we can't ignore our fellows, even if their misfortune results from their own doing. It's just not what a civilized society does, and it hurts the quality of life for all of us.

It would seem the statement that "We Are All In This Together" is most often made by those seeking a handout.
it seems odd to hear this from a fellow Christian... someone who has already been the recipient of the greatest (and most undeserved) "handout" in all of Creation.

apparently handouts are only good if they agree with clirus's theology, anything else is eviiiil

When there is disease, death, destruction and poverty produced by too much wine, women/men and song, I did not participate.
So singing is evil now? That would explain why so many of history's greatest musicians died young. Poor Jimi never had a chance against the wrath of God!
You started off there actually making some sense....and then went completely off the rails into a river of nuttery.
Well...that is sort of her posting style.

We've all been conditioned to think of love as the heart-pounding,
breathless passion of the young -- not the complex feelings shared by two
time-ravaged people who spend afternoons holding hands, as a defense against
loneliness, disease and death.

Stick around dude, it gets even more sick. This is a woman that thinks that disobedient children should be executed.

Especially when much of the music represents hate of God.
I guess no one should be forced to pay for anyone else's activity in a proper country.
The President's Chrismas tree should be paid for privately, with his own money, and people should have to buy their own abortions.

“The egalitarian mania of demagogues is even more dangerous than the brutality of men in gallooned coats... Anyone who has been oppressed can get back on his feet if the oppression did not cost him his life. A man who has been equalized is physically and morally ruined." - Ernst Jünger (March 29, 1895 – February 17, 1998)

Jesus loves everyone. Including Jimi Hendrix. Doesn't hence your hatred for those He loves translate to hatred for Him?

Man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love.

Advocates of capitalism are very apt to appeal to the sacred principles of liberty, which are embodied in one maxim:
The fortunate must not be restrained in the exercise of tyranny over the unfortunate.
"no man can serve two masters; ye cannot serve both God and mammon." - Bible (Matthew 6:24)
