Origins TheologyForum for the discussion of Creation Science (Young/Old) vs Theistic Evolution. Discussion of Atheistic Evolution should be taken to the Discussion and Debate forums.
It contradicts a reasonable interpretation of it, but not an unreasonable one.
Its unreasonable given the mountain of evidence that would make it impossible. And since you admit its only an interpretation, you can't continue arguing that Evolution contradicts the Bible.
"don't know. Something like the first hominids that had the cranial capacity for reason had a special revelation from God, and worshiped him until they decided to reject him."
Evolution tells us homosapien evolved 100-250k years ago and only 2k years ago did god make himself known. Where in the Bible does it say he came 100-250k years ago?
Your just making this up
Why would god leave something sooooo important such as the only direct contact with humanity for hundreds of thousands of years out ?

Nowhere, specifically.

The Assumptions is a magic word thread might be a good thread for you to read.

Why is anything left out of the Bible? You open a can of worms with this line of reasoning, and it becomes completely absurd what you can ask and justify with it.

No crap, its an example of a possible historical basis for an allegorical tale. I don't quite understand your point.

Your sentence structure doesn't make sense.
If you are asking why God would wait hundreds of thousands of years before contacting humanity:
Possibly its because humanity hadn't developed its cognitive abilities to the point where communication would be worthwhile.
if you are asking why Genesis doesn't have a timeline that matches evolutionary theory:
Genesis is allegorical. It doesn't have to have accurate time-lines.
I did. You objected to it over the issue of the time frame, for reasons I don't understand because of your garbled sentence structure in your earlier post.
