It would provide him/her with the absolute certainly of unshakable conviction. He/she would know that he/she was Special in God's eyes and that the entire universe was created just for him/her. He/she would also be able to scoff at those evil atheist scientists, while benefiting from their research every day of his/her life. The contradictions would not be able to phase him/her. He/she would sleep well at night with the absoulte certainly of his/her convictions.

In other words my child would grow up in a vacuum and be delusional.
If I may interpret that "warm and fuzzy feeling" which they have no real undersatnding or grasp of what it really is. The ture meaning is found in Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." When a person fully trusts in the Lord there is a peace that is past the understanding of those who have not experienced it. It is a tranquility of the spirit which ONLY God can give. Your understandings, affections, mind and all the varous workings of them are well gaurded through the Spirit and power of Jesus Christ. The peace that comes KNOWING you have a part in God's favour keeps you from sinning under troubles and keeps us calm with an inward satisfaction.
As Matthew Henry says, "The apostle is for an example. His doctrine and life agreed together. The way to have the God of peace with us, is to keep close to our duty. All our privileges and salvation arise in the free mercy of God; yet the enjoyment of them depends on our sincere and holy conduct. These are works of God, pertaining to God, and to him only are they to be ascribed, and to no other, neither men, words, nor deeds."
Why would I not want my child or children to have this in their lives? Why would anyone for that matter not want this peace? Many have experienced this and are experiencing this. I can honestly say that I do experience this peace only because I know what it is like to be void of it.
And if you think its just made up feelings, well, God knocks at your hearts door quite often. Just swallow your pride and let Him in. If you are sincere, I promise you, no doubt, you can experience this peace.

I asked Jesus "How much do you love me?" He answered "This much". Then He stretched out His arms and died for me.
If you have everything but Jesus, you have nothing. If you have nothing but Jesus, you have everything.
Have you given much thought to where you are going to spend eternity?

You are describing the benefits (as you see it ) of being a Christian. The OP asked what the benefits of being a Creationist are. Do you see being a Creationist as necessary for being a Christian, or necessary for Salvation?
