You must remember the holy spirit only operated in temples primarily. And there had to be many offerings made because of the uncleaness of man. In order for that temple to be sanctified in such a way that it would be acceptable for the holy spirit.
When the bible says Christ defeated death, it means Christ poured out the holy spirit to all men, without the need for a temple or an offering. As Christ had been crucified for that purpose and resurrected. THE OLD TEMPLE was where there were offerings made, with which the holy spirit was operating primarily. THE NEW TEMPLE, the one which was rebuilt in 3 days is in the body of every man alive since the crucifician, and his resurrection. This is the temple christ was refering too, that the promise should not be denied from among any man, without respect to the person.
Matthew 20:28
Christ Jesus, was the offering of payment made for the holy spirit to reside in the body of every man since the crucifician and resurrection, until May 21, 2011.
Matthew 27:50
Theres 2 ways to look at this, i'll talk about the 2nd first. Christ had already died in the flesh, when they put the vinegar against his mouth. (note that vinegar can come from scorpions? insects i mean) The knowing of his fleshly passing, inquired if Christ would save himself in the flesh. (the flesh is unworthy)
When Jesus Cried, he died the 2nd time, because he died in the spirit, in that he died as a man. This was the offering made, in order to pour out the holy spirit among all men in this earth. (jesus died twice in the cross once in the flesh, and once in the spirit)
The soul of a man is vanity and unworthy, yeah Christ came as a man through the holy Ghost, and was lead of the holy spirit to all righteousness. This is of one and the same. yeah the soul of a man is vanity, and the flesh of a man is unworthy, when a man dies he is dead, having not the promise of eternal life, which is in Christ Jesus.
Christ, the living god, the savior and redeemer from among men. Is God, because the godhead cannot be separated, when Christ died as a man he returned to being Christ the living god. The incarnation of Christ in the flesh is a mystery among men indeed. Because the soul and body of a man, yea, the being of a man is vanity, and altogether unprofitable. Simply the pride of life is a stumbling block for these.
Mark 15:27
Remember Christ had not at this point, poured out the holy spirit to all men. Outside of the temple, to seek Christ literally meant to speak with Christ. Christ has made the payment for sin, with the offering of himself, the savior and redeemer among men. How can remove sin, save for Christ jesus.
Did Jesus sacrifice a human body for us? Or, did he forfeit his very spirit?
The flesh is unworthy, and the soul of a man is vanity. The Crucifician of Christ was a demonstration, of the offering which Christ had made payment for. (this meant the new covenant came into effect , where the temple becomes a temple in every man for the holy spirit, without offering freely given - beit there is no more covering for sinful men, because death has been denied by the holy spirit, in that the promise has been made manifest in all flesh, beit the desire of men is for damnation and death, to their own hurt)
