After all it worked before. Despite all of the upheaval about Bush and his lies abour Iraq, I don't see him languishing in prison, nor any of his sidekicks. So, what is going to stop them now? Certainly not the truth!

I don't know that Obama will have much say in it. He is acting more and more like a puppet of the Military-Industrial Comlex just as Bush was.
If Obama wanted to squash the 'sabre rattling' then all he needs to do is to announce that Iran has complied with all the international laws applicable to their nuclear program (which they have, unlike India, Pakistan, Israel, South Africa etc...) just as his own intelligence services have been saying they have.
The main reason that Afghanistan is still going on is to maintain a staging post for Iran (and Pakistan).
Another reason for going to war (again) is to divert attention from the economic meltdown still to come. Works every time.

What you fail to realize is that the only way to get out of this economic melt down is through an arms race or arms dealing, thats why WW2 got us out of the great depression. The war in iraq is just wasting money because all we are using is small arms, we have to pit other nations against each other and then get involved with arms dealing, it has to be a war where significant arms are being manufactured not penny anti small arms. The key is to not have the war on your own soil where your own infrasturcuter is destroyed. Unfortunatly in WW2 we lost way to many of our own men, we could have gotten out of the depression just fine with much less loss of life on our part but britian was falling apart and if they fell it could have been on our own soil. Iraq will always be a money pit because it does not generate a substantial enough war economy, you have a few companies making body armor, some humvees, M16's, small potatoe stuff.

We are still in Afghanistan because we need to be in Afghanistan. They are unstable, they have no peacekeepers, they have no protection from the Taliban.

They have agreed to allow inspectors in, just like they have allowed them in regularly to date. But that won't stop the lie factory from churning out accusations against them. The US and her allies are well practiced at that.
If the US shadow government wants a war, they will have a war. The truth about anything is their last consideration. The US has used lies to go to war for the last 40 years, so what is going to change now?

You are aware that Iran is an Islamic theocracy, who gives their best equipment to the IRGC, who's goal it is to "protect and spread" Islam all over the world, yes?
