I used to like Snowe. I might still do, I don't know. But if I'm reading the information on the
Snowe trigger correctly, it's
never actually going to trigger, and if that's actually the case, she earns my ire, not my respect. I confess to finding the wording and workings of the trigger somewhat convoluted, and I haven't had a lot of time to study it in depth, but initially it doesn't exactly look great.
We don't need Senators pretending to be for health care reform when they're actually out to kill it. Have the courage of your convictions to actually come out for or against, instead of doing wetwork behind the scenes.
