When we read the Bible, we don't approach it carelessly. And after we read its pages, we don't crumple them up and throw them away. We don't throw one Bible away when we have finished it and go buy another.
I think that if we used nature with the same care and respect for God's presence that we use with the Bible, our world would be a lot healthier.
You see, I look at all of creation in the same way I look at the Bible. I love nature, not because it is an infinity of dirt and wood and water and living creatures--although that is impressive in itself.
I love nature because it is created by God for our benefit and use. And if we read it right and understand what it is saying, it can help us to know God and ourselves, and our relationship to life itself.

We have no basis to boast in our own might. We can't preserve
our lives. We can't topple kingdoms. We can't see the edge of the
distant edge of the heavens. We can't determine the future or
change the past. So what do we have in which we can boast? God! We
are living proof of his grace and mercy -- he saved us when we
didn't deserve it, he rescued us from sin and death when we had no
power to preserve our lives. Those in sorrow, brokenness, and night
can look at us and rejoice because we are living proof God saves
the sinner, raises up the disheartened, and mends the broken.
Praise the LORD for his glory. Praise the LORD for his grace.

We live in an awesome world.
Make it an awesome day.
Peace To All and May God Bless You.
Live simply. Love generously.
Care deeply. Speak kindly.
Leave the rest to God.
One way to keep our life on track and our hearts surrendered to
the will and work of God is to praise our glorious LORD
continually. Let's put our praise for God on our lips with song and
memorized Scripture. Let's tell his wonderful and great deeds to
our children, grandchildren, and friends. Let's give him thanks for
all that he has done for us. Just as surely as he is with us always
(see Ps. 139), let's praise him always.

We normally think of a day as morning and evening.
In God's timing, however, the order is evening and morning!
In life, there are many experiences that cause men and women to go through what it seems, is the darkest night - the discovery of a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one. It is during such times of grief and sorrow that God is able to prove His great love!
When it seems that all is dark, and the sun will never shine again.
God always shows His faithfulness to His children.
" Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh,
in the morning " (Psalm 30:5)
During times of heartache and sorrow, we can lean on the Lord and thank Him for His promises!
What Satan turns to darkness, God will trasform into light. And when Satan would try to bring a tradedy in the darkness of night, God always give the glorious promise of a new day!

Isn't it good that we can sing alone and know God loves our
song! Isn't it even better that we can join others in songs of
praise and lose ourselves in wonder, love, and praise! Let's spend
today finding other believers and praising God together. All around
the world, hundreds of thousands strong, let's reach out to other
believers and ask them to join us in glorifying the Lord!

WAIT FOR THE LORD!
No one waits for anything or anyone! We are all in the fast lane doing our own thing!
To wait upon Him takes strength and courage: strength of character to "will" to wait, and courage to do what others do not.
To do something that has eternal significance, it must be done through the power of the Holy Spirit, not logic or emotion.
To move out in service of any kind, and do it in the flesh will profit us nothing.
When we come to understand that His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts, it will become easier to wait for the Lord.
Have you experienced times in your own life when you should have waited for the Lord and didn't?
Did you learn the lesson well, or will you have to suffer again?
Most of us will not come to an understanding of this vital truth without many failures.
But be encouraged to keep on trying, and wait for the Lord!

Frustration
A programmer and an engineer are sitting next to each other on a long flight from LA to NY. The Programmer leans over to the Engineer and asks if he would like to play a fun game. The Engineer just want to take a nap, so he politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks.
The Programmer persists and explains that the game is really easy and a lot of fun. He explains “I ask you a question, and if you don’t know the answer, you pay me $5.” Again, the Engineer politely declines and tries to get some sleep.
The Programmer, now somewhat agitated, says “OK, if you don’t know the answer you pay me $5, and if I don’t know the answer, I will pay you $50!” This catches the Engineer’s complete attention, and he sees no end to this torment unless he plays, so he agrees to the game.
The Programmer asks the first question. “What’s the distance from the
earth to the moon?” The Engineer doesn’t say a word, reaches into his wallet, pulls out a five-dollar bill and hands it to the Programmer. Now, it’s the Engineer’s turn. He asks the Programmer: “What goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?”
The Programmer looks at him with a puzzled look, he takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references. He taps into the Airphone with his modem and searches the Net and the Library of Congress. Frustrated, he sends e-mails to all his co-workers and friends he knows. All to no avail.
After over an hour, he wakes the Engineer and hands him $50. The Engineer politely takes the $50 and turns away to get back to sleep. The Programmer, more than a little miffed, shakes the Engineer and asks, “Well, so what IS the answer?” Without a word, the Engineer reaches into his wallet, hands the Programmer $5 and goes back to sleep

Song of Solomon
Chapter 2:1
" I am the Rose of Sharon and the Lily of the valleys "
God here compares Himself, not as needful bread and refreshing water, but to lovely flowers, to roses and the lilies.
We may ask!
What is the use of roses and lilies?
They are of no use at all except for joy and delight. We are delighted of their form, color, and fragrance, but they are not the necessaries of life.
In Christ you will find roses and lilies; as well as bread and water. Our Lord Jesus is the best of all things. The dearest, fairest and most charming of all beings that we can think of; is the wonder of God, our Saviour. Is there a more beautiful sight than a rose bud, or one that is in full bloom?
And the lily, what a charming thing it is, it seems to be more of a flower of heaven than of earth.
The combination of these sweet flowers suggest our Lords suffering and purity. While on earth, Jesus could say, " the prince of this world cometh and has nothing in Me."
The devil himself could not see a speck in that lovely lily.
Jesus Christ is perfection itself, He is all purity. So you must put the two together, the rose and the lily to show Christ's suffering, and perfection.
Jesus said, " I am the Rose of Sharon." You may ask, " What was Sharon? "
It was an open plain where anybody might wonder.
Jesus is not like a rose in Solomon's garden, all shut up within high walls with brken glass all around the top.
O no!
I am the Rose of Sharon, everyones rose, the flower for the common people to come and gather.
I am the Lily, what lily?
The lily of the valleys that grow everywhere.
Then Christ is as abundant as a common flower.
Whatever kind of rose it was, it was a common rose, whatever kind of lily it was, it was a well known lily that grew freely in the valleys of the land.
He has brought us a common salvation and He is the common peoples Christ.
Come my friend and take an arm full of roses. Come and take them.
If you would like to carry away a big handful of lilies of the valleys.
Come and take them as you will.
May the Lord give you the will.

Each believer needs to answer a searching question.
Are my eyes fixed on the single purpose of glorifying God?
If so, the fires of self-ambition will be distinguished when a believer desires to gloryfy God above all else, be willing to do anything and to be anything so that the purpose of God can be accomplished.
It is good for a believer to ask himself if he is as concerned about seeing God's working through others, as he is about God's working through himself. The sin nature causes a person to want to be center stage.
We are all like this, so we must come to grips with this tendency.
We become competitive in the Christian life and find it difficult to pray for Christians who are not part of our church, or our work.
In the body of Christ there should be no competing with each other. We are members of the same body [1 Corinthians12:12-13], and when one member suffers, we should all suffer with him. When one member is honored, we should all rejoice.
We need to spend some time in the Word and be alone with God until we are more concerned about His honor than our own. We do not need to worry about competition from other believers, our concern is only to glorify the Lord in all that we do.
When a Christian is more concerned about God's honor than about his own, God will take care of his worries about competition from fellow believers. It is much easier to say this than to really live it, but we must come to grips with this problem if we are going to have victory in our Christian lives.
We must be aware of the indwelling Christ and rely on Him to give us victory in these areas.
