Question about salvation

How is it then, that people who never heard the gospel nor know who Jesus is go to hell?

I know the only way to the kingdom of God is knowing and believing Jesus died on the cross for our sins, to substitute his record for ours.

What about all the people who never heard about Christ, or the people around the world after Jesus died, who were not brought the Gospel yet.

Don't get me wrong, I believe it with all my heart, and I got saved
now I live my life as Jesus' servant, but a non-believer put this thought in my head and I'm not sure how to answer it

I do believe that, but what about innocent good people who were never introduced the Gospel?

If those people live far from Christian, and never come incontact with any Christians, nor know the Gospel, then it seems as God has no purpose, and is not using them, but that is not just or fair for them to go to hell. If you only have salvation through Christ alone.

All I can say is that I believe Christ Jesus and trust in GOD that HIS WILL be done. I know it will get much worse here in this world before the end, although I do see and feel the labor pains of it all here and now.

Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Also read carefully Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

You see, whether they except the gospel or not, all will be judged. If they do not know Christ but do what is right in the sight of GOD what justice would there be for GOD to disown them?

Also read 1 Peter 4:6 For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

You see, even those dead before Christ have the gospel preached to them.

There is no doubt in my mind that all will be informed in one way or another of the coming of the Kingdom of GOD. And every knee shall surely bow down and confess that Christ Jesus is Lord.

Those sanctified through Christ Jesus (all saints) mentioned in Revelation 19 & 20 are all those that it speaks about when it is written in Revelation 20:5-6 ... This is the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them .........

That makes sence, but I was taught we are only allowed into the Kingdom of heaven through Jesus Crist alone, and not by works, because all would fall short of the glory of God, and his standards. Salvation does not come from good works, good works are a result of salvation.

I'm talking about the people far far off and away, either past of present that are, or never were even surrounded by Christians, or heard the Gospel or know who Jesus was. For these people to be judged by works, seems fair, but I was taught differently, that God is 100% Holy, he can not be surrounded by even 1 sin, so no one would get into heaven, without Jesus Christ, not even mother Teresa.

I can only state what I know to be truth, will all come to this same truth and be in agreement with me? Not that I require that, I seek that they only search scripture/Holy Spirit and be confident in what they've found.

As I said those sanctified through Christ Jesus will never see death, these are those who follow HIM and hear HIS voice. In hearing HIS voice and following HIM they are being made into HIS spiritual likeness, they will not see death and the second death has no power over them.

Those not sanctified through Christ Jesus will be preached the kingdom of GOD (which is Chirst Jesus or THE WORD) and be judged (by THE WORD) in the flesh (the works they did in this life) and if their names are in the book of Life they will not suffer the second death.

It is all in GOD's Hands. Your concerns right now are nothing other than the Holy Spirit leading you to understand what HE wishes you to understand and scripture would be the best place to do this. I worry often about those who do not know Christ but I must eventually trust HIM when he says that the kingdom of GOD will be preached before the end.

When he says the Gospel will be preached before the end of time, I feel as if He is refering to end time events. So once the message of the Gospel is preached throughout the entire world, then He will return.

So your saying if you have not heard the Gospel, you will be judged according to your works?

I am not saying much, I am relying on what scripture says (Revelations 20:11-15) you can read it for yourself. The fruit of the spirit is works whether we wish to acknowledge this or not, they are works of GOD through those who love HIM and follow HIM by keeping HIS commandments.

What you were taught as far as GOD not being able to dwell with sin is true. If you do believe this then surely you must believe that HE has the power to forgive sins and remember them no more? In light of the fact that no one can be perfect without Chirst Jesus. Think of the book of LIFE as such, all the names are those that GOD determines whom to forgive, based on what? HIS WORD (Christ Jesus). I know that the bible tells me as well that not all Jews have been rejected, it says that GOD has reserved 7,000 of them that will be saved through HIS grace.

I would encourage you not to listen to man but seek scripture via the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead you to what GOD wants you to know.

When Jesus says the gospel will be preached, HE means that all will know of HIM before the end will come. GOD will decide on whom to forgive and not man, I can tell you this much for a fact. Therefore, each man should seek GOD's counsel and not mans. I am not there yet, I am still growing, therefore what I know today I may see differently tomorrow, which is true of anyone you see post on these forums, including yourself.

What happens to those who have never heard about Jesus?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question: "What happens to those who have never heard about Jesus?"

Answer: All people are accountable to God whether or not they have “heard about Him.” The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). If it were not for God's grace, we would be given over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. He does this for those who continually reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).

In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle—everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

The problem is “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in their own hearts, and instead decide to worship a “god” of their own creation. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell who never had the opportunity to hear the gospel of Christ. People are responsible to God for what God has already revealed to them. The Bible says that people reject this knowledge, and therefore God is just in condemning them to hell.

Instead of debating the fate of those who have never heard, we, as Christians, should be doing our best to make sure they do hear. We are called to spread the gospel throughout the nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). We know people reject the knowledge of God revealed in nature, and that must motivate us to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only by accepting God’s grace through the Lord Jesus Christ can people be saved from their sins and rescued from an eternity apart from God.

If we assume that those who never hear the gospel are granted mercy from God, we will run into a terrible problem. If people who never hear the gospel are saved, it is logical that we should make sure no one ever hears the gospel. The worst thing we could do would be to share the gospel with a person and have him or her reject it. If that were to happen, he or she would be condemned. People who do not hear the gospel must be condemned, or else there is no motivation for evangelism. Why run the risk of people possibly rejecting the gospel and condemning themselves when they were previously saved because they had never heard the gospel?
