If you could be so kind, please make your responses easy to understand, I won't lie I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to giant responses with lots of things I have no idea about, lol. Trinity? Origins of Life? Evolution? After Death? Hell? Heaven? Bible? What books are different than the Protestant Bible? Inerrancy? Salvation? Repentance? Baptism? Sin? Are some sins worse than others?
Haha, hopefully that isn't too much, but if so don't worry about answering everything! I'm hoping to read lots of responses from lots of people!

The Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Churches pretty much have the same teachings on these but I will let someone who is of the faith to answer.
I can answer your question on the Bible. The OO Churches have the same canon as the Eastern Orthodox Church. So they accept all the so called apocrypha as its called by Protestants. The Ethiopian Church also accepts the Books of Enoch, Jubilees, and the three books of Meqabyan (Ethiopian Maccabees which is different from the other books of Maccabees).

It is possible that he doesn't even live near an Oriental Orthodox church since there aren't as many in the US as EO churches.
