Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)
For a long time, I couldn't understand this. How can I regard what I haven't received yet as received already? However I twisted my mind, I just couldn't do it. I heard explanations from different people but all seemed to point to some superfaith, which was beyond my reach. I thought I would need the gift of faith to do Mark 11:24, and gave up.
A while back I revisited the verse. If I needed healing and healing came, what would I do? Joyful thanksgiving. That was the answer to Mark 11:24. I didn't need superfaith, just thanksgiving. No believer needs superfaith to receive the promise of Mark 11:24. All he needs is to have a joyful thanksgiving after a request for healing, for example. Any believer can do this.
Hebrews 11:1 Faith........ is the evidence of things not seen.
Again this faith is not some superfaith, but a faith with accompanying thanksgiving. Again within the reach of any believer.
Yesterday, I met a neighbor who had a back surgery not too long ago. She said it got worse after the surgery. The doctor wanted another operation. She was skeptic. We prayed together and I shared Mark 11:24 as I understood. We had a joyful time together.
Ha.. I was reading that scripture to my mother only this morning.. praise GOD.. yes yes it is called having faith in GOD... I love that it is for whatever we ask.. no restriction.. LOL.. that brings such joy.. and you can rejoice no matter how long in the flesh it might take because YOU KNOW and have confidence.. blessed be HIS name.. that makes me joyful just to think of it..

I love that this forum exists and that we can talk the truth about faith in God's Word without six people asking us what faith means, three people falsely calling us new age, and two people telling us that God will do whatever He wants.

Agreed, and if you believed, just thank the Lord that He already healed you like what He said in Mark 9:23 “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
