Good morning all!! I am sitting in class at the moment with nobody around, hope they show but the way the flu has been running around here their is no telling!
Hello dear friends. Sorry I have not posted in a while. So many things going on in my family, you would not beleive.... well maybe you would. I'm sure we all have times like that. Of course the most serious thing is my neice, Kim's illness. She is wanting a second opinion and is trying to get things set up to go to MD Anderson, a cancer hospital in Houston this week for that. She did receive some good news this morning from an oncologist here. He staged her cancer as "stage one, multiple myeloma"... which is good news as the dr. in the hospital said it was stage four. After reading much material about this disease, we have found that there is no stage four. It is only staged one through three. Now you understand why she wants a second opinion. We are hoping it has not progressed as far as we had been led to believe and that with treatment she will have much more time. She is feeling better except that she tires easily. She went to Sunday School AND church on Sunday and out to eat lunch afterward! Thank you all so much for your prayers for her. There are literally people praying for her all over the country and beyond and she so appreciates the prayer. Her faith is strong, she is not taking this lying down. She is a fighter and a believer who is expecting a miracle. And we know that our God is in the miracle working business, don't we? Nothing too big for Him.... not even cancer!
God's blessings to you all.

Wow, Joy, that is already answered prayer. What the doctors thought was stage 4 is really stage 1. Thank you, Jesus!! We'll keep praying until it is gone.

Thought I'd introduce myself to the new people here. I used to be here quite frequently up until about a year ago.
I am a wife and mother of 3, one still at home whom I homeschool. In September of last year I started working outside the home, in addition to what I already do here, which also includes all the household duties, although my dear daughter has taken on much more. (A round of applause for her. )
This past May I went on a short term mission trip to Eastern Europe and when I came home I started a more formal education in alternative health, a subject I've had great interest in for some 10 years, ever since the Lord lead me to change my diet and eat what He has made. It changed my health dramatically and now I desire to pass this information to anyone I can in order to help them. Currently I have had to stop the course for a season.
Lately, as in the past couple of days, I am very, very tired and losing my perspective on almost everything it seems.
I always have time for Jesus. If everything else must wait, and nothing gets done, I will sit at my Lord's feet.
He restores my soul........and my body.
I will arise.

Second, practice your religion without adulterating it or toning it down. Third, emphasize love and make it your working force, for love is central in Christianity. Fourth, study the non-Christian religions more sympathetically to find the good that is within them in order to have a more sympathetic approach to the people.”

been huntig all week and am sure disappointed with the way land is being handled ... our camping spot was closed this year to make a pay camp ... now there's none left that aren't pay ... I'm very worried about the homeless who now really have no where to go ... our huckleberry place was leveled for sub division lots that are still sitting for sale and now our hunting spot is closed as of next year to log for homes ... very sad very little is open to the sportsman, outdoor person anymore ... we have almost no roads that aren't gated ... it's just ridiculous ... we have thousands and thousands of acres of timber just sitting there unable to be acessed so it becomes a fire hazard and then burns up ... in the meantime the few spots we have left are being swallowed up ...
okay ... rant over ... tough day ... three new spots closed ...
love you all very much ... God bless, every one

Hi everyone. Coming back to the church recently once again. Seem to have an on and off relationship heh. Found an amazing congregation though, really makes it feel like I'm going home when I see them.
How is everyone?

That's too bad. All that land, we're Americans, and we can't enjoy our land. Hmph. I guess we must continue to find things we are thankful for, for freedoms that have not yet been taken away. And remember to keep those in authority in prayer.
Congrats on the new grandbaby on the way!

Amen! Rejoicing here too! And yes, we will not stop till we have the good report that she is cancer free.
