Use a search engine to look for beliefs by denomination, but perhaps you could visit the local ones and get their Creed or requirements for membership then decide. All Baptist churches are not equal and I suspect the same of other detonations as well. They will all likely mail you a copy.

As said above, the church can have its own character. The personality of any church depends on who joins in -- not just the pastor or the denomination. And how each member lives out their faith walk. |

Our belief is that this should never even be an issue causing division and debate within the church at large. |

I agree on both counts. I like AG for those reasons, but I wouldn't be happy in just any AG church. Mine suits me very well, but in a different town the local AG church might not, and I'd be better off going elsewhere.

No guilt of life, no fear of death This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
‘Til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand |

Yes, I even visited one ten miles away that had a different character. The congregation makes a big difference in a church. We are the church.
