How can a prayer be urgent? You are addressing an omniscient omnipotent being therefore you are speaking to someone who already knows what you are going to ask or tell. God cannot interfere since the whole point of the Garden of Eden in the Jewish and Christian bible is that humans were given free will and interfering in response to prayer, or for any other reason would cancel free will.

Prayers are answered by God and man does not have free will in the sense that you suggest. This isn't the forum to debate theology but if you are a Christian you have access to the Lord via prayer as written in Scripture.
