When you get to the Pearly Gates, do you honestly think Jesus is going to judge you according to your belief in one or the other? Do you honestly think he's going to ask your opinion about anything?
We focus so much on arguing our points here that we forget to love one another.
Just food for thought. [btw- I am a Theistic Evolutionist but I am saved by His Grace!]

As far as your salvation is concerned, it doesn't matter if you're being saved from atheism, evolutionism, * or both.
But I love the point [the late] Henry M. Morris makes about Job.
He makes the point that when God appears to Job, God chews him out.
Why?
For not properly understanding His creation.
He asks Job something like 77 questions, all dealing with His creation, or its aftermath.
God puts a high priority on His creation. * I know --- 'evolutionism' is not a word.

I should think He is more interested in our hearts than our brains.

Jesus died to save us from our sin. Not from evolution.

I think Av can be forgiven for making that mistake.
I mean, what does his brain have to do with what he thinks? |

No, it doesn't matter to God.
It sure as heck matters far too much to too many creationists though. |

I don't recall Job asking God questions about creation leading up to the point where He appeared to him. His questions were more along the line of "what the heck was that all about?" God puts a high priority on His creation.
Apparently, according to some, to the detriment of others.
