I went to Church for the first time ever on Sunday. I've been struggling with my faith and didn't know which Church to go to. I've been told, I should just bit the bullet and go and see which one feels best.
I finally went my local Church of England on Sunday and I saw many many happy people with beaming smiles.
For at least 48 hours afterwards, Im here, Im beaming, Im relaxed (as my mood indicator states), Im content, Im happy, Im filled with joy.
Im tired as anything, but I feel so much happiness it's unreal, I can't stop smiling. I feel great.
Do not go by your feelings. Though our feelings come and go, God's love for us does not.
We don't have to see or feel to believe.
You go to Church to be fed the Word of God. If your not being fed, then find another Church that feeds you the Word of God to where you grow in Christ.
The Holy Spirit will bring you joy and peace.

Im not trying to suggest that if I suddenly lose these feelings then God will not exist, but Im saying since going to Church, I have been hit by this incredible feeling of utter wellbeing and happiness that I don't think I've ever felt.
Oh ok. I thought you might of been talking about when you feel bad that you might think that God doesn't exist.
My bad. Sorry.
Yes, happiness and well being are significant.

But it's so much more than that, what Im feeling at the moment, is absolutely huge, it's like Im drunk without drinking, an absolute hugh, supreme happiness, joy, peacefulness. I want to keep telling everyone what's happened and share this good news.
What Im trying to say about this, is that maybe this is the thing Im looking for, the confirmation that Im on the right track, the opened connection with God.
Yep, God is what your looking for.
But remember that ol' devil will try to steal your joy.

What's going on?
Heaven... Heaven is peace, joy... but spiritual, not of the flesh. It is more of a state of constant altitude then anything else. That is, you can feel anger or sadness, but it is always from a perspective much higher then where the damned are... so it is always tinged with vast joy and peace.
I would not say it is about physical feeling, however... more of a state of awareness and joy in being so fortunate.
Like having an office in the tall building overlooking everything else.
you mean kind of overwhelming, breathtaking, no direct physical or emotive cause, it's not caused because you've just eaten a load of sugar, or won the lottery, it, just, is...
i know exactly what you mean, and exactly what you are feeling. He's amazing. can you imagine, the living God, the Lord and Creator of everything, wants to live inside you? seems too good to be true, but it's not! welcome to the family of God.
