Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | Preparing for end time Hi,
We are a new resident in Aurora, CO, and looking for a local church who are preparing the way for Jesus. Is there any churches in Aurora/Denver area?
Thanks for your help. |

John the baptist prepared the way before Jesus started his work. We are the generation to prepare 2nd coming Jesus. I do not want to be a Sunday worshiper. I want to be a Forerunner.
Thanks. |

Well, the Jehovah's Witnesses and the Adventists are the best known religious groups which emphasize the imminent return of Christ. Any others would probably be unafilliated congregations that none of us, as non-residents of Aurora, would be in position to know. |

My information is that JWs believe:
a. The return of Christ occurred invisibly in the fall of 1914
(Reasoning from the Scriptures, p. 95)
b. Christ will not leave heaven and come to earth.
(Aid to Bible Understanding, pp. 551, 1336)
c. Christ will not have a visible return to earth.
(Reasoning from the Scriptures, pp. 314, 343 |

Sorry. I should have said, "end of the age" rather than "return of Christ." That potential choice is therefore stratched from consideration, I take it. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
