So the U.N. is proposing a new worldwide currency which would replace the us dollar. I don't know what it will be but I wouldnt be suprised if it were a chip inserted into our right hands. I felt a chill go down my spine when I heard about this. For obvious reasons I guess I would like to know what peoples thoughts are on this... |

| | | | I think it's a good idea. The euro is a success, and, imo, proves that a global currency would work. The article I found from gocurrency(dot)com gave a neutral overview(can't post the link yet, but google 'un universal currency' and click on the gocurrency(dot)com link).
For Christians who feel this is a 'sign of the times', I don't believe we're to the point yet where the government can force people to do something contrary to their religious views. Besides which, a global currency is a separate and unrelated topic from forced microchipping, imo.

The Euro is a mixed bag. For some countries it is working well but for others it is a hardship because it made things much more expensive for consumers. A global currency would be a huge power grab. It will trump the sovereignty of all nations because they will all be economically under the control of whoever mints the money.
