We now know that the following claims are false (or so outrageous as to need no rebuttal (see #31, 36 and 37)):
1. That Ellen G. White was a plagiarist.
2. That Ellen G. White plagiarized by paraphrasing.
3. That Ellen G. White was a millionaire.
4. That Ellen G. White was accumulating property while telling everyone else not to.
5. That Fannie Bolton wrote Steps to Christ.
6. That Ellen G. White engaged in "wholesale plagiarism" of Conybeare and Howson.
7. That Ellen G. White was threatened with a lawsuit over her alleged plagiarism.
8. That Ellen G. White took a dozen servants with her to Australia.
9. That Ellen G. White plagiarized 80-90% ("and possibly more" according to some web sites).
10. That Ellen G. White predicted the San Francisco earthquake after it happened.
11. That Ellen G. White said only vegetarians will be saved.
12. That Ellen G. White said only sabbatarians will be saved.
13. That the Library of Congress wouldn't allow Ellen G. White's book The Great Controversy into the library because of the plagiarisms involved.
14. That an entire chapter of Sketches from the Life of Paul was "taken entirely" from a sermon by Melvill.
15. That the claim that "there is no point in the entire chapter that had not already come to Mevill before" Ellen G. White.
16. That Ellen G. White saw people on Jupiter.
17. That Ellen G. White made repeated claims that Jesus was coming in specific years.
18. That Ellen G. White asked Washburn and Crisler to undertake a research of the Life of Christ and then appropriated it and published it as Desire of Ages.

20. That Ellen G. White contradicted herself.
21. That Ellen G. White predicted that England would enter into the American Civil War.
22. That Ellen G. White copied her first vision from Foy; out of 6 examples listed that Foy said the claimant got one right.
23. or, did she copy it from Joseph Smith? Even the Mormon scholars who have looked at it don't believe it.
24. That Ellen G. White predicted that someone would be healed (and yet he died).
25. That SDA's "worship" Ellen G. White.
26. That Dr. Veltman proved Ellen G. White plagiarized.
27. That Ellen G. White's visions were the result of a head injury during childhood.
28. That Ellen G. White was a follower of Joseph Smith.
29. That Ellen G. White wrote that "The Civil War is a sign that Jesus is about to return."
30. That Ellen G. White called Jesus "Michael the Archangel" (Desire of Ages pp. 99, 379; Spiritual Gifts Vol. 1, p. 158; Prophets & Kings p. 572)
1) There's no reference to Michael the archangel in DA on page 379.
2) There's no equation between Christ & Michael in Spiritual Gifts Vol. 1, p. 158 or Prophets & Kings p. 572.
31. "Not to mention the Mason Illuminati influence on EGW toilet paper teachings!!"
32. “But from her own mouth, she was a racist.”
33. Alleged quote from EGW: {EGW: Lazarus, leads the donkey at the triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The healed dumb shouted the loudest, healed blind led the way and the healed cripples broke the most branches. "} Can’t be found.
34. “Seeing this, in the light of her calling Him "Michael the Archangel" (Desire of Ages pp. 99, 379; Spiritual Gifts Vol. 1, p. 158; Prophets & Kings p. 572)” Unfortunately for the critic there was no mention of Michael in DA page 379, or in 1 SG 158, and there was no equation of Jesus with Michael in PK, 572.
35. Another alleged material from EGW: {EGW: THE SISTER OF MARTHA AND LAZARUS, WAS MARY MAGDALENE, AND SHE WAS LED INTO SIN BY SIMON. DA, p. 566,568.} She doesn’t.
36. “SHE WAS AN OCCULTIST FACT!”
37. “SHE WAS INVOLVED IN THE OCCULT THE ILLUMINATI!”
38. EGW copied her health ideas from Jackson. (No examples were given, despite repeated requests and then when pressed further said that they were in the book by Numbers—not there either.)
39. That Ellen G. White copied other people's ideas. Can’t prove that words were copied and yet they can prove that ideas were?!?
40. That Ellen G. White didn't believe in the Trinity, or did she? In either case, critics condemn her for either position.
41. One critic accused her of necromancy (communicating with the dead) because she said that she had talked with Enoch. I pointed out to him that according to Scripture Enoch never died.
You can prove that some of the above claims are false with as little as 5 minutes of work. The critics, however, will never spend that 5 minutes and will never admit that any of the above are false (even if they never made the claims themselves!).

One rule you can always count on: never, ever trust the critics on anything. They've proven that they cannot, and will not, tell you the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I now have 99 authors in my plagiarism study. The critics still have zero.

Quote doesn't exist.

48. "Ellen G. White copied extensively from this book (Wylie's History of Protestantism) and claimed it was a revelation from God!" (10/17/2009)
