Your diatribe was so off point I didn't see any point in trying to convince someone less than half my age that I've seen and experienced things you can't even imagine. And you have no way to judge what I know or don't know. I can remember being your age and thinking I knew it all too. So pointing out your rudeness and the crudity with which you expressed it seemed appropriate.

Ooh, argument from "I'm older than you and therefore know stuff you can't possibly understand". I've had that one pulled a few times on me too. It's usually accompanied by a vacuum where evidence should be.
Still not seeing a link to the claim that he has Alzheimers. Until you do, celticfan's first point stands, regardless of age.

Try reading what I said. I have seen and experienced things you haven't. I've seen and experienced things celticfan83 hasn't.

Conservatives may not like it, but just because someone, who is an elder statesman and highly respected, says something they don't like, does not mean that person is demented or senile. I find him quite lucid and insightful and correct.

So if you don't like younger people judging you, why are you judging Carter? Do you know what he's "experienced"? Can you even "imagine" it? |

Still waiting on a link to prove he has Alzheimer's. You know, the sort of thing there should have been in the OP? Or do we work off a "hey, I just thought of something that sounds possible, I'll make a board about it now and push it as fact" position now? In your experience is that a good thing to do?
Until then, anything else you say is kinda superfluous to requirements.

You may well be the only person who doesn't think he was the worst president we've ever had. I find him neither insightful or correct. He's making irresponsible statements which neither inform or forward understanding.

LOL. We are many, but on other forums mostly.
One characteristic of today's liberals is that we don't like confrontation and would rather sit down and have a nice dialog. So we aren't making the noise the radical right is making right now.
I'm glad folks are praying, because so are we. We are praying for others to stand up and speak our message as Carter is doing. And as President Obama does.
We are pressing for a working class movement that changes the culture as it did in the past. We have them to thank for the labor movement and our 8 hr work day, weekends, social security, and so much more. The real end of systemic racism and healthcare for all are next.
This is how we do the work of Jesus in the world.

Actually his wife, Nancy, had an astrologer.
