Having some difficulties getting my head round some stuff to do with Job and God's sovereignty. I do not believe that God put any of the difficulties on Job , it is clear that they came from Satan but it also appears that God allowed this to happen. I just don't understand how it all fits together . I know that when Job speaks he states that the thing he most feared had happened and so I can understand that through his fears he allowed Satan to take some ground in his life but it seems to so clearly state that God allowed iit. Can anyone help me out with this?
Thanks

Thanks, will have a look at all of those things. Really appreciate you helping me out with this. Am having some problems in my church with some wrong teaching on this but just couldn't get to the bottom of what the truth actually is. Thanks.

Daniel Gracely (who is not Word-Faith) has written a book titled "Calvinism: A Closer Look". While I recommend purchasing the whole book (because it is a thick book but chock full of good info exposing erronoeous Calvinist thought), he has made the book available for free online.
I think you will REALLY like his chapter on Job. It is very insightful:
I intend to quote portions from his book for my own book which deals with this subject. However, you will find Gracely does an excellent job of refuting the "all-controlling sovereignty" idea concerning Job.
