You are such an arrogant sophist. If we are all creationists, then tell us what the difference between us is. Tell us why there is this "debate" in the first place. Give us some new terms that differentiate us from you and your ilk, if you don't like the ones everyone else uses.

You are the one who doesn't know what you are: An idolator who worships a book written by men. A member of The Genesis Cult. So don't blame us if you don't know what you are.

Like I said, you're creatio ex materia --- we're creatio ex nihilo.

You can claim you're not creationists all you want, but who uses the word "created" more, you or us?

You're only alternative to not being a creationist, as far as I know, is that you're --- what's it called --- steady-state?

ETA: QV this article, please --- and notice the use of the word "created".

You accept evolution, though... don't you? Species do change over time, right? I guess that means we are all "evolutionists." Why don't you use that title?

I said species change not indivduals! All dog breeds have a common wolf ancestor. Whatever do you mean when you claim "species emerge?" Give us an example. I can give you plenty of examples of species changing, or more specifically, populations of a species changing over time.

Because the topic of this thread is "creation" --- and you guys make it perfectly clear that evolution has nothing to do with life before it got started.

You want to divorce evolution from abiogenesis --- go ahead.

And I'm telling you they don't.

In the binomial system, an animal is assigned two names: one is its genus, and the other is its species.

Show me a Canis lupus changing into a Canis latrans.

A new species might emerge --- that is, a Canis lupus might give birth to a Canis latrans --- (or whatever the next mutant is chronologically) --- but you'll never see a Genus give birth to another Genus.

As I have pointed out before, only God can change one Genera into another, and back again.

Remember?

He changed Acaia arabia into Naja naja --- and back again?

People you troll on this forum and, for some reason, many of them respond to your nonsense?

Actually, the topic of this thread are atheists. Read the O.P. again. What does that have to do with you calling everyone "creationists," rather than "evolutionists?" More sophistry? If everyone is a creationist because you define it that way, you win?

I never mentioned abiogenesis and neither did you. First you dodge, then you weave, and now you move the goalposts.. It's the Creationist Three-step!

Really? How about Triticale? Triticale is a hybrid of wheat (genus: Triticum) and Rye (genus: Secale) Triticale - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In any case, we have ample evidence for the evolution of new genera, via speciation. What does any of this have to do with the simple fact that evolution, including speciation, has been observed, and you just claimed that "New species emerge --- but they don't change?" How about Ring Species? Evolution -- Species Rings

Hey, has any of you ever heard of the Raelians?
They're a pretty odd bunch, that lot, but really, they're not actually that much different from Christians...
