Say you found a 1 bedroom apartment for like $300.00 a month then all the utilities ran another $100.00 a month jeeze thats only $400.00 a month on bills you would still have around a 1,000 to spend on yourself a month im lucky if I have $200.00 to last for 2 weeks. Or find a roommate to split the cost of rent.
I dont know what country/state that person is living in that is getting 300$ a month for rent without living in the heart of compton or some other gheto. 100$ in utilities maybe 60 years ago lol (garbage, gas, electric, water is going to run you more than 100$). What is the point of having a place if you are not going to have internet you will end up spending all your time where you have wireless internet anyways so if you dont have internet at your place you will never be there. The only logic I could see to having a place is if its pretty nice and you want to be there or a place to have sex with your wife/GF, having sex in a car is not all that. You probably have to eat out alot because you dont have a place to really prepare food but I dont know if the difference between eating out and eating in is enough to make up for the cost of rent (which is about 400-500 in most places) or even come close for that matter.
I will reitterate I would save for an education first rather than a house becuase if you get married and divorced that house can go by by, no one can take your education. I recommend reading the dark side of venus and its companion book which I will not mention on here from amazon.

Not in ohio in some of the small towns that I live in. This one apartment complex has one bedroom that are $300.00 a month and also included in the rent is garbage. And I know people that live there are only paying $80.00 dollars a month for utilities. So yea. Having a roof over your head is a nessary. Ok urban monk you have a car right? What about the place you have to pay your car insurance to? Dont you get tired of that? Well you need a car to get around in right? Also there are some apartments around here that go strictly on income. Some people are living in these for like $20.00 dollars a month. All I can say is have fun not being able to hardly have any personal belongings because you have no apartment to keep it all in.

Funny how u call yourself a Christian but u are trying to insult me. I can tell where you're going to in the afterlife. But anyways, I don't let the opinions of fools frustrate me. I have plenty of personal belongings, Xbox 360, laptop, DVDs, videogames, etc. I know how to store items and yes I use them on a daily basis. Being homeless takes skill. Besides, even if I had a house or apartment to store more stuff, it would be useless because I probably wouldn't be able to afford more stuff

My aunt only made $800.00 a month and she had $300.00 rent $90.00 for phone/cable/internet. Around $80.00 month utlities. And she had to by gas for her van and food to eat! And insurance for her van!..Sound like to me money rules you and thats a sin in God eye's.. All you love to pleasure your self and no one else thats very selfish....To me you didnt have much of a childhood if that true what you said about your rich parents?.. Be in my shoe's..My mom was married three times...Lived with my grandparents when mom moved back with her parents..Was mostly raised by my grandparents..My stepfather abused me from 6-16 yearold..He kick me punched and thrown me around..Had a mother that got her rocks off is seeing me abused...Ran away from home 6 times.. Gave my mom an choice ,you pic me or my stepfather! Guess what she picked him over me her own flesh&blood...But I forgave them but not forget..God will deal with then in his own way and time!!Do you want to trade parents??!!! Anyway your car takes money too.. If your car breaks down you have to pay to get it fixed too.....Too Me your being stupied with your money...All you want to do is keep your money and sponge off your friends....God is going to give you one heck of a wake up call and your not going to like it..
Im surprised that $1500 a month is considered a small amount of money. I live on $600 a month and that does me fine. I have a flat; and can eat, drink and make merry. I just have to do all of that on the cheap.
While I don't have a car and have never been homeless, the nomadic lifestyle is very attractive. I love backpacking and thumbing around. But, really, I like knowing I have a roof to get under when the weather turns. Though if you can live without it, more power to you.

I know what u are saying by being safe but I have no fear. Fear is a weapon that demonic forces use against people. If I have to be brave and not have a home in order to live happily, then that is what I will do.
Fear is actually quite necessary sometimes. If we weren't able to feel any fear at all, we wouldn't feel any need get ourselves out of dangerous and/or deadly situations. So no, not all fear is demonic. (Not that you can even prove that demons exist, that is.)
And if you have no fear at all, then are you saying that you wouldn't try to get away from someone who was trying to mug you, shoot you, or stab you? You'd just let them do whatever they wanted to you? If so, then that's quite a foolish attitude to have.

I would not suggest counseling simply because of his lifestyle, but because of his family issues. He has no contact to them.
