The Bible, why do creationist not feel the same way about the Koran?

Could it be that the Koran was not taught to them when they were children?
or were they taught about the Koran along with the Bible but chose to believe the Bible?
were their parents Muslims who chose to teach them about the Bible?
or were they Christian literalist who chose to teach them only about the Bible?
were they given a broad outline of all the religions available and then chose Christianity?

What a dilemma, if they were only taught about the Bible it could be said that they were indoctrinated.

According to the Bible, the Koran was written by a false prophet.

Once the Bible was completed, all prophecies ceased.

Mohammad claimed to be a prophet, and when Bible-believing Christians refused to acknowledge that, he got furious.

Why do you think the United States is called 'Great Satan' and England 'Lesser Satan'?

Because the Koran and the Bible contradict, both cannot be true.

As for why accept the bible over the koran, its simple. 40 plus authors versus 1 author. Pretty simple really.

I thought the one and only author of the bible was god himself?
So what do you think is better? One author and 40 plus fallible transcribers, or 1 author and only 1 fallible transcriber?

Your logic in this argument is seriously flawed ...

I'm sorry to hear it.

You have my deepest sympathy.

Still, the reason Christian creationists don't also believe the Koran is because they grew up in a predominantly Christian country.

If they had to've grown up in say... Saudi Arabia, they'd most certainly be Islamic.

I'd guess at least 80% of which religion people follow is down to their geographical location.

Why being sorry?
Believing in a god or something similar may be something everybody can and shell find out for him/herself. But believing in one special religion is always indoctrinated, I don't think there is any other way

Funny thing is I've seen Muslims make the same argument as to why the Qur'an is true and the Bible isn't.
