Man says he lost part of finger in fight at health-care rally
Sounds like a backwards B to me.
Rice would not divulge to CNN his views on the proposed health-care reforms.
Rice, who would not say why he was at the location, said he did not do anything to prompt the incident and did not know the other man.
Rice said he hit the other man on the nose when he came at him. "Had I not hit him he would have hit me," Rice said, adding that his left hand ended up in the other man's mouth during the incident, and the top part of his left pinky finger was bitten off.

They botched it up though, right? Accidentally sewed a dog tail to his finger, yes? Mistakenly amputated an ear?
Stupid government, can't do anything correctly.

Looks like he divulged his views on health-care reform pretty quickly actually. What a tool.

Here is an eye witness account who says the guy provoked the fight.

Mic 6:8 He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
From that I understand Rice started the fight. If he's looking for any sympathy he best look elsewhere.
I'm sure that the guy didn't intend to bit his finger off, but if you get into a fight (especially one you didn't start) you fight to win, you don't fight clean. If that means going after genitals, eyes or biting a finger (hopefully not off) you do it!
If he would have had a gun on him, this wouldn't have happenned! He could be as loud abrassive, insulting, loud mouthed and crass as he could want to be and no one would do a thing
THAT'S why the 2nd amendment is so great; it can protect stupid tongues.

Isn't threatening people with a gun a crime?

If it's a choice between my pinky and my gun, I'm keeping both!
