Personally(as a military guy) I doubt any nation at the moment has God's blessing. Israel being the exception due to defying the odds but even there blessings seem less and less lately.
Live by the sword and die by the sword is more a statement of natural consequences than God's will(unless you look at the natural as God's will).
But either way we should try to spread love before war. Understanding before conflict. But we are sinful humans and we have and will wage war but the more love we share with our brothers the less war we will have. We must work for the good of all before ourselves, love deep and hold nothing back. Then war will be nothing but an anachronism from ancient times instead of the cycle we have but cannot escape today.
I will continue to serve my side like the Centurion but not with a lust for war but with pity and hope for others and for a better future. For no one should seek out war or but keep searching for the time when Jesus's words come with the sword of truth and understanding slaying our inner demons and then the Lion will lay down with the lamb.

The answer is the same for all "nations." They will crumble. What I am more curious of is what will happen to the religions who thirst for war? There are a number that do so including a number of "Christian" denominations...
