Homosexuals may not be the minority.

In the future that is. It seems that as homosexuality becomes socially and legally accepted across the globe heterosexuality begins to take a back seat.
Rural areas across the planet have become more populated by homosexuals.
Although, homosexuals aren't moving there. The fact of the matter is, homosexuality appears to be more popular in these areas.

That's right, "popular". Homosexuals seem to be having some kind of influence among teens 14 to 16 and young adult females. Causing them to become gay or lesbian.

Kind of sounds like the beginning of human extinction, to me.
However, there are Christians who would call it the beginning of the second coming of Christ.
People opting to be homosexual because it's trendy sounds like a story right out of the bible. And absolutely takes away from the idea that homosexuality is a choice. But by the time we figure that out we'll be chest deep in a morality crisis.
Given that there is absolutely no evidence to support that homosexual unions slow down or stop promiscuity among homosexuals. And on top of that it's completely by choice. The fundamental issues that support the family unit will be completely forgotten.

Huh, sounds familiar...

One reason is that previous studies employed self-selected, opportunistic, or small population-based samples. We used data from a truly population-based 2005-2006 survey of all adult twins (20-47 years) in Sweden to conduct the largest twin study of same-sex sexual behavior attempted so far."

That is a load of garbage.

Societies that don't persecute have more people that identify as homosexual? Maybe that is because homosexuals in those countries don't fear coming out, it isn't a crime for them to do so, it doesn't endanger their lives.

States allowing same sex relations, the fact that there are more homosexual unions in cities rather than rural areas... it all follows a similar pattern - the less the society and the law of that society discriminates, the more people are prepared to be public with how they feel.

There is no evidence that homosexuality is becoming "more popular" in the sense that more people are "becoming/choosing to be homosexual", there is just evidence that homosexuals are feeling more comfortable about declaring their homosexuality in public.

Regardless of that fact, the homosexual minority is still so small that it makes absolutely no sense to fear for the extinction of the human race through increased levels of homosexuality.

To Inviolable,
Sounds a bit like what hapened at Sodom.
But the young do tend to go for whatever is in fashionable rebellion. I know a number of young people who decided they should be gay and lesbian because it was fashionable, some have since given up on the idea, others I dont know now what has happened.
But history shows us when something is in decline it gets worse not better before it reaches a suitable low for enewal and regeneration.

Now you are utterly making things up. Sounds nothing like anything that is said to have occured in Sodom.

What's your point with the last link?

Involiable. I really wish you would stop posting this drivel, homosexuality is not a choice, rising numbers of homosexuals is because people are becoming more understanding and its safe to come out of the closet, not because being gay is "popular". I'll repeat, being gay is not a choice, get over it.
Brightmorningstar, and you know why they gave up on the idea? Because you can't choose to be gay.
You guy's can mount up as much "evidence" as you want, and I'd do the same right back. We're not going to convince each other, but I for one am sick of seeing this stuff in ethics, there are better things to talk about on this forum than the personal lives of people we don't know.
