Have any of you seen the film "As It Is In Heaven"? It raises some interesting issues including the emptiness of religious form and the value and strength of real community. We watched it as a home church and it resonated with some of our own perspectives, especially regarding the importance of real relationships.
Where people are prepared to be honest with each other, to be supportive in deed as well as word, where there is encouragement, empathy, personal sharing of questions, struggles and good times, where prayer for each other is sincere and specific. Plus, lots of fun, laughter, good social times as well as more formal ones and a general, heartfelt celebration of life.
