| "Then" the millennium 1.Cor:15:21-28 For as by one man came death, by one man has come also resurrection from the dead. For as in Adam all die so also in Christ shall all be made alive, but each in his order, Christ the firstfruits THEN at His coming those who belong to Christ, THEN comes the end when He delivers up the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. For God has put all things in subjection under His feet, but when it says "all things are put in subjection under Him" it is plain that He is excepted who put all things under Him. When all things are subjected to Him then the Son Himself will also be subjected to who put all things under Him that God may be everything to everyone. Notice the stages and the time between the the first resurrection [our Lord] and THEN those who belong to Him [us] and another THEN comes the end, most people believe that the second coming of our Lord is one huge final event. I see a kingdom in between the first THEN and the Second THEN. Reading the OT testament prophecies in Isaiah and Micah which promise a time of earthly blessing and peace with righteousness, and since these prophecies have not yet come to pass they must still be future if the integrity of God's word is not to be impugned, yet in those prophecies there is still death, this is the last enemy to be destroyed during the millennial age. For the church death will be destroyed in the rapture. 1.Cor:15:51-55. Lo! I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised imperishable and we shall be changed. For this perishable nature must put on the imperishable, and this mortal nature must put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written "death is swallowed up in victory. Oh death where is your victory? oh death where is your sting? But the rapture is not the end of the world but the end of this age, the millennial age is the gospel in glorious triumph age as we are taught to pray "Father, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." The millennium is the Fathers reward to His Son. Jesus will reign with His church in glorious triumph in a kingdom of Peace, prosperity and righteousness.
