I am a month away from leading the small groups ministry in my church an am in need of some advice.
I have looking for topics for our small groups and have narrowed it down some:
1. We need something from the New Testament.
2. We are small church of about 45 people.
3. Most people are new members with a mixture of new believers and mature Christians.
4. This semester's scheduled will run from October 1st through the first week of December.
5. We are a non-denominational church and believe in the full Bible from cover to cover.
6. We don't really want to go through an entire book, but an some chapters that could last us up through December.
PLEASE make some suggestions lol

Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
You could try faith, hope and love from 1 Cor 13. and speak on faith, hope, love over series of time. Or maybe Righteousness, peace and joy, see Romans 14:17, That should keep you going for a while.
The Israel Bride of Christ.
Are you of Her? Are you Married to Him in His New Marriage Covenant? Have you received Him at His Coming and are now heavy with His Child in you? Is He performing the Work of the Father in you? Do you contain the Son of God and are you bringing Christ forth in the birth pangs of your life? Is Christ truly in you?
There is some good topic for discussion
This should get you Blessings in your group
Blessings,
Son of Israel
many do not understand the need for fresh mannah in the body
Do not interupt my spirit as I speak says The Lord for would you rush to judge me as others ?! Then be patient , wait upon me as I speak and learn to discern my voice not only my ways for my ways are gracious and loving for those "In" my will yet if you rush out of my court how will you know the error of your ways ( psalm 26:2-8 ) and the truth to be told ?!
For it is as you wait upon me in true humbleness and supplication that I reveal the " NOW " to you ~ my "current" word ~ for I AM moving ! and this is not a thing of the past (Isaiah 48:5-22) for as my word " behold " I do a new thing and I reveal yeah show as an active vision the reality of who I truly am and what my will is for you my body and bride .
So wait upon me in patient abide as one for truly it is in this unity of assemblance that I shall reveal my hand at work and where I am resting my eyes ( Zechariah 3:9 ) , for I am a God of revelation knowledge but first you must come to know me "truly" know me that I may mend the error of your ways for my ways are just and my messengers are sent in love to release understanding for those that receive my beloved vessels I call my own and as you reveal your true humbleness of heart and not a counterfeit then and only then shall I reveal my all to you .
So do not interupt my voice however I choose to speak or speak through for I AM God and there is no other yet my Prophets and Apostles carry my words .
Do not rebuke what you know is mine for my vineyard is forever and I shall prune all that deny those that come in my name .
My words are true and shall come to pass for I watch over my word that none should fall .
here's an example you may use Google "The Joshua Chronicles" & jeff kingshott , you may use these for testing and for helping to understand how the spirit is speaking to the body today !
Why not show them first how to hear God's voice , Jesus said my sheep hear my voice ?!
I don't believe the original poster is around anymore, perhaps he chose a subject.
When we, the flesh and bone body of Christ speaks His word, those who are His sheep hear. That is why we speak it, so they will hear His voice. Aka, "the foolishness of preaching". correct?
