Didn't read the full article, but if it was racially motivated then you can bet it got hidden behind pathetic stories like whether it is proper for M Obama to wear shorts or not...Oh Lord help us... If the color of the skin had been reversed the whole world would know about the evil done to two young innocent people who were more in likely at that wrong place at the wrong time.
This story should be told and those gang members held accountable. This is atrocious and there is no reason whey it should not have received coverage and the truth told.

Sadly, there are way too many murders in the US every day. Also, it is sad how the National media seems to jump on certain stories while ignoring others but that does not make this a case that was ignored, nationally, because of the racial factor. (There have been plenty of other cases which were black against whites that did make prime time news. The OJ Simpson case for one. The LA riot where blacks pulled the white truck driver out of his truck and one threw a brick which caused severe damage is another.)
The case was big news in Tennessee and Kentucky where one of the suspects was caught.

The first conviction was in April of 2008. It is also not strange for murder trials to take a few years to come to trial.
Hopefully, the trial will end in a conviction for all the guilty parties and just punishment will ensue.
We should all pray for the families. This will take years for them to recover from, if they ever do. I cannot imagine the pain of knowing that your child was murdered in such a horrible fashion.
May God heal their pain and allow them to forgive the guilty parties.
