Tuesday, August 18, 2009, 7:25 a.m. – I woke from A DREAM:

The house was in disarray. I was trying to get the kids to clean it up. We had not assigned chores in a long time, so Saturday chores had not been routine in awhile.

The dishes in the dishwasher were covered with food, so I showed one of the children how to use a pot scrubber (scratch pad) to clean the food off of a wooden spoon before placing it into the dishwasher to be washed.

When someone went to close the refrigerator door, the door was disjointed. It hung on the outside of the refrigerator, i.e. beside the refrigerator, not on the front of it. So, I asked my husband to fix it. It was like the door had shifted to the left of the refrigerator yet was still in the same position, i.e. not in an open position.

I spoke with the children about respect. I wanted them to show me respect. END

ANOTHER DREAM: My DIL was supposed to have spent the night, but she never did. She was over at the house, and she went into one of the bedrooms. She called my daughter and talked with her on the phone for awhile while my DIL lay on the bed. When she came out of the bedroom, I said to her (sarcastically), “Don’t think that is going to get you out of spending the night!” END

This sounds as though this is still on the subject of health-care reform:

My Understanding: The house is the USA. We are in a disorganized and confused state of panic and hysteria over this health-care reform. “The kids” could represent members of Congress in Town Hall meetings and/or in communication with their constituents. And, Obama is asking them to “clean up the house.” Cleaning the house also represents God’s acts of divine judgment against the USA.

First of all, I see that the “waters rising in the north” parallel the quickly-rising medical costs. The scripture said “they will become an overflowing torrent.” I see that as they are one thing but they will soon become another, which I believe is this health-care reform, i.e. this overhaul of health care which is represented in the dream by a dishwasher. Also, this health-care overhaul is a judgment of God on America and the church in America.

In the dream there was a wooden spoon that was covered with food, so I showed one of the children how to use a scratch pad to clean the food off of the wooden spoon before placing it into the dishwasher to be washed. In reading these news articles and in examining the symbols, I realized that the “scratching” was related to Obama’s indication of a willingness to “drop” (scratch) a government-run health care plan (the food on the spoon [spoon-fed] – actually a fishing lure with a hook attached) from any overhaul (the dishwasher).

The White House says that is not a “shift”, but Fact Check says it actually is. In the dream, the refrigerator door shifted to the left of the refrigerator. The refrigerator appeared to be a symbol of a machine, i.e. an organization that is protected and isolated (cabinet – could be President’s cabinet, or the President and senior administration officials, or Congress and the President, and/or it could be private insurance companies) and that keeps things cool by artificial (unnatural) means.

The Fact Check article continued by stating that Obama said, “I strongly believe that Americans should have the choice of a public health insurance option operating alongside private plans. This, I believe, also fits with the refrigerator door shifting to the left of the refrigerator but is still attached and is operating alongside the refrigerator, i.e. beside private insurance plans? Or, private government plans?

Ok, Obama apparently has changed his position on the matter of the public option of government-run health-care. This article sees this as a shift. The dream appears to indicate that the “shift” is to the far left (politically) and that it includes this choice of public health insurance operating alongside private plans. The symbols seem to indicate that the apparent “shift” is a “fishing lure with a hook.” “Artificial” means less than sincere and “cool” has to do with not showing emotion, so it appears here that this “shift” by Obama is all “smoke and mirrors” and that it is a lure with a hook.

The article stated that this “shift” was due to Obama and his administration “bowing to pressure” from Republicans and skeptical voters. The scripture spoke of fathers hands hanging limp (gripped with fear) so that they are not able to come to the rescue of their children. I saw this door as hanging limp, so the shift to the left of the refrigerator (cabinet/Congress) is potentially a fear response.

Whether fear is involved or not, what is clear is that the “shift” is to the far left politically and that it includes government-run health-care, only it appears that the government-run health-care is operating alongside of government-run health-care, not private insurance. Also, the “door” is still the “door” to the refrigerator even though it has shifted positions, so even if the refrigerator should be a symbol of private insurance, the door (access) to insurance is still through the US Government.

The bottom line is that not everything is as it appears to be. We are being lured as fish to a hook and next will be the “catch.” All of this that is going on with our government is being allowed by God as his divine instrument of judgment against the church in the USA and against the USA as a nation. We need to put our trust in Almighty God and not in men because we are only going to get greatly disappointed by the men and women who are in leadership over us. They are not looking out for our welfare. Our own government has become the people’s enemy.

Yet, we can find assurance in Jesus, in his love for us, in our relationship with him, in his forgiveness and his promises of eternal life with him in heaven. These assurances are for those who are in Christ Jesus through faith and repentance and obedience. Our love for our Lord is demonstrated by our resigning from the follies of sin. Our Lord is calling each and every one of us to turn from our sin and to turn back to him.

Prez in Double-Flip on Health Option 'PUBLIC' HUMILIATION - New York Post

"The Obama administration now says it remains fully behind the idea of a "public option" for government-run insurance, despite clear signals over the weekend from top officials that the public option is not a deal-breaker and is just a "sliver" of the overall reforms it seeks.

"White House spokesman Robert Gibbs blamed the media for misunderstanding the administration's support."

In the dream “The Pot Scrubber” there was a reference made to a “fishing lure with a hook” in relation to this health-care reform. Well, I read this article this morning which used similar language concerning Congress and the health-care overhaul:

A local news talk radio host used the term “Trojan Horse” with regard to the “public option” of government-run health care that has been on, then off and then back on the table.

I also see this article as possibly related to the vision “The Ostrich” because there was this sense that our leaders in Congress were being referred to as “Court Jesters”, lacking true wisdom, and then they turned into a woman from the 1940’s with a broad-rimmed hat, pointed nose and red lipstick on her lips. She was facing the east (Germany?).
